There’s an article over at Forbes.com detailing the non-profit Mozilla Foundation’s plan to turn their Firefox project into a for-profit entity. As Firefox has gained popularity the Mozilla Foundation feels it would be better if they could look at the popularity of Firefox from a more commercial viewpoint. This will allow them to think of it more as a business – but they explain that it still won’t necessarily make profit their number one concern.
