Notebook Review

GotApex has a review of a Asus built notebook. Normally, I would not bother posting such links. However, I consider this somewhat interesting as PowerNotebooks offer thier notebooks default without an OS. For many of us that look to install Linux, a savings of $93 is nice. I also thought it cute that for $12, you could get OpenOffice.org and some other software included. In looking over the specs, the chipsets all have Linux drivers, though a few like the modem and 3D require proprietary drivers.
