 A couple of years ago I asked both of my boys if they would
each like to have a dirt bike (motorcycle) when they got older? My
then five year old loved the idea but my older son Neil who was 11 years old
at the time said he'd rather have a laptop computer.

 My wife recently purchased an HP Pavilion zv6007(us).
It is a nice
notebook with an AMD64 processor. I struggled a little to get
everything working with Mandriva Linux 2005LE and I'm not done yet. But with the help of
others that did it first, I've got most of it working. The couple
of items I had to put some effort into were:
- Built-in wireless
- System clock running too fast
- Widescreen resolution
- Media card reader
